Toplumda gittikçe artan doktora yönelik suçlama, karalama ve saldırılar bu durumu hızla kötüleştiriyor. Tüm dünyada ve abartılı olarak da ülkemizde toplumun hekime bakışını değiştiren bir çok etken mevcut. Ancak hekimlerin de bir miktar günahı olduğu kesin.

Ben olumsuzluklardan yola çıkarak olumluya ulaşmanın çok da mümkün olmadığını düşünenlerdenim. Herşeyin düzelmesi için önce yeniden umutlanmalıyız. Doğru bir durum değerlendirmesiyle yaptığımız iyi şeyleri hatırlayıp bunlardan moral bulmamız ve bundan sonrası için gerekli mücadeleyi verme azim ve umudunu yeniden kazanmamız gerekiyor.

Tıp bilim ve sanattır, bizler de bilimi kullanan sanatkarlarız. Sanatta ustalık-çıraklık ilişkisi çok önemlidir. Bu nedenle ustalara çok iş düşüyor. Ben, kendi adıma, çıraklıktan ustalığa Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji alanındaki geçmişimi gözden geçirip, nereden başlayıp nereye geldiğimi, neleri yapamayıp neleri başarabildiğimi hatırlamak istedim.
